yesterday was damn hilarious.

went late for jason's cause some stuff popped up before it. and just when i entered he started to ask me for love messages for his future wife.

like hello? do i look like that type?!

anyway he was asking the whole center to "donate" some love messages to him. :/ poor sheena smsed him 4 and she was damn frustrated with the connection cause she smsed him all 4 and he received none when they were like sitting next to each other?

LIKE GUYS DONT HAVE MEH. -.- ) and margaret was like "no no i dont have. actually i have but i dont want to give you! =p" and i was like "wth I DONT HAVE AT ALL LAH." -.- and i resorted to sms-ing qianwen and asking her for some but from her response i think she must think im seriously mad so i gave up.

then we resulted in asking jason to create his own. :/ after sheena left, jason's phone rang.

and that's like more than half and hour later. -.- god.



today's the first day of the holidays AND I SLACKED MY LIFE AWAY. hurhur. there's still a million things to do. but seriously i dont care. =x i want to go out and playyyyyyy.

i passed 2.4. but barely. ran with liuyi. i feel so hopeless in running lah please! liuyi's sick and yet she ran like half a minute faster than me please! oh my god i should just go and dig a hole in the ground and hide myself.

was damn tired after 2.4 but we had to ban1 all the instruments to boarding for the evening recital. i almost died please. and we had to move the drumset all the way to boarding school. urgh. damn tiring. but we still managed with much help from tan kuo cheang. he's like super strong please! he carried the bass drum like it was nothing lah. oh my.

basically we just went to the function room to run through the whole programme. the movements and stuff. then went for a break. god my fingers almost died.

went for a break where almost all the band people in chamber music were suanning janabel from head to toe for being to llama-ish. haha. then we went for lunch then came back for practice with dr macorome. my god he so damn freakingly pro i cant stand him! haha no lah. he's so nice and he's so pro. i feel so demoralised when i play the bass next to him lah. :/ touched up on alot of stuffs. note ALOT. cause we were like falling apart? :/ practiced trade fours and body language with us. (: and taught me how to mic the bass. haha oh man i love him. we would really have died without him lah.

ban1 the drumset and bass back to school for band prac. i rested cause MY FOURTH FINGER FINALLY DIED ON ME by bursting the bloody blister and breaking my skin. :/ (alliteration! HAHA. ) felt damn pissed with myself afterwards and went around asking for a freaking pathetic plaster for my finger. (alliteration again! god wth is wrong with me? ) then jasmine, mien jun and i took turns to play since we only had 2 basses. i think i rested the most :/ cause whenever there was pizzicato i was like "oh my god IM SO NOT GOING TO PLAY." haha. =x anyway we played really nice songs like aladin, the eighties, disney, shrek dance party! and many many other nice medleys. (:

got dismissed at 5 from band and we went for a "chamber music-band+suyun and ruimin" dinner at KAP. haha. ate with suyun, kexin and ziyan as usual. went back early to move instruments AGAIN to the boarding school. practiced abit more and this time, the blisters on my second finger burst. so great lah. -.-

then had to stop practicing cause concert was starting and janabel kept reminding guanteng to pitch properly. ermps! we were starting to get worried cause 15 minutes to the concert there was barely an sudience. MELANIE FAYE was our first regconised audience haha! (: then donglu, cynthia, sabrina, jiaying, qianwen, quinza and MS CHONG came. omg when ms chong came i died of shock lah. and the brass groups screamed in shock when they saw ms chong walk in please. omg classic. haha.

we finally got a decent amount of audience and the brass enzem started. janabel went crazy over guanteng and her pitching lah. omg janabel's like seriously obsessed with guanteng? haha! i think they did very well! tubas were damn strong lah haha. cheryl and jacey! (: trumpets also! guanteng and rachel! (; then valerie's facial expressions were so damn cute when she was soloing on her trombone please! ziyan and kexin as usual lah. play until so pro and at the end of it like nothing happened like that. haha! (:

then the wind trio (ros, tianhui and xiaohui) wetnt up next and ruimin janabel and i went backstage to prepare. was damn nervous and i was freaking out lah cause i was damn scared that i couldnt play cause of my dead fingers. :/ the wind trio sounded damn pro from outside! o.o ohmy. gave me more pressure. couldnt remember anything else cause i was damn freaking nervous.

then our turn came and i tested the mic before. started abit too fast with now's the time and my finger almost died halfway. ruimin soloed into so danco samba and again our tempo was abit faster then usual. :/ didnt manage to do my slapping thing in the end. ): but overall i think ruimin and janabel did great! especially the trade fours! and we finally manage to play properly like really properly without missing anything out. (:

but then i found out that i couldnt be heard at all even with the mic from the back of the audience. :/ ayee.

the other groups were all needless to say, freaking pro. haha. really really. then ban1 back to school after everything and thanked mr tan and mrs ee of course. (:

during these 5 days i was really tired and practice sessions made it more tiring but it was all fruitful and worth it. i really loved the practice sessions with mr macorome and to think that we wont be able to work with him anymore makes me miss him even more. he was really nice and helpful to us and he's the sole cause of our sucess. (: thanks alot alot alot! <3 (heard from tkc that it costs 150 bucks per hour to work with him! my god. )

anyway, i really hope that this type of sessions will take place more often. looking back, i dont think i would have bothered to talk to people like janabel and ruimin if i wasnt given this chance (not that i dont like them or anything) and the wind trio and brass enzem wouldnt have come together to play so sucessfully. this sabbatical has really made our batch closer and hope that we have more chance to work in these groups in the future! (:

yesterday's sabbaticals was really hilarious.



tan kuo cheang spent the whole day suaning janabel like hell lah. so freaking hilarious please!


"siewying. so from your point of view yesterday did you find out that janabel was fatter?"

"janabel please dont anyhow hit your head. if not you'll get dumber. or maybe the effects are already starting to settle in."

"eee who's shoes are these! so ugly! i bet is janabel lie's one lah!"

in the end the shoes were guanteng's. HAHA. omg.



anyway, dr macorome couldnt make it for practice yesterday. so in end janabel ruimin and i were left to practice ourselves. tan kuo cheang did manage to come and see us for a moment. and omg it was so damn hilarious i almost died of laughter!

janabel made to go to the drumset to start playing but she saw a spider!

and she became hysterical and started to run away from the supposedly jumping spider. and then ruimin and i were trying to calm her (and ourselves) down and get her to play so as not to waste tan kuo cheang's time but she was still very hysterical.

in the end she found out that there were 2 spiders.

so ruimin took action and went to catch the spider and eventually brought it out of the room, but not before giving janabel a good scare and janabel finally freaked out by jumping up onto the piano stool. O.O i bet tan kuo cheang's damn amazed by her lah.

well, i am.

anyway we wasted like 10-20 minutes on freaking out and screaming and jumping and catching before we actually started to play for tan kuo cheang. omg haha so funny!

then after practice, tan kuo cheang can to bandroom to find me for the roomkey.

me: "huh? why ask me? it's with janabel what."
tkc: "HUH! WHY IS IT WITH HER!"

today's sabbat lesson started off with sharing again. tan kuo cheang started suanning janabel again haha. but not so bad lah this time. HAHA.

oh oh. tan kuo cheang has very weird thoughts! he was saying how ruimin could like express herself more by shaking or swinging her head. then he pictured this scene where ruimin swinged her head until she sprained or breaked her neck. and she couldnt shake her head anymore. and he started laughing damn hysterically!!!! omg!

and his laughter is damn shocking! like some mad guy. so high-pitched! o.O

after break we had practice with dr macorome again. DR MACOROME IS A NICE PERSON TO WORK WITH! he's also damn hilarious, but in the serious way lah. omg the way he said we had to express ourselves with our body language was so hilarious lah. haha!

then he said jazz had some special some sort of radmark thing, like how bebop always sound like someone is spraying his saliva all over the mike or something. then he tried to demostrate and janabel started laughing like siao. o.O then janabel got so amazed with me doing huiying's bebop thing and she tried to say it.

went out with jessica and qianwen to orchard after school. (: we were VERY SAFE, since someone had HMP while we were shopping.

STUPID KEXIN ACTUALLY SAW LIUYI, YIHUI, QIANWEN AND I AT BUGIS JUNCTION ON MONDAY! omg im so freaking pissed! she was in samuel and calvin and we walked into samuel and calvin lah! apparently she was in the dressing room. omg urgh! everytime when qianwen is around, she'll be around. and EVERYTIME SHE SEES US BUT WE DONT SEE HER. urghhh!


anyway, went to taka, heerens, and cine. I FOUND THE TOP THAT I LIKE WITH THE NECKLACE AT CINE!!!!! oh man. but it was like 25 bucks! ): found out that heerens have alot of nice stuff. just that im not that rich. cine also. (: should go to these 2 places to get more ideas next time. (:

it's was all a very refreshing and new experience for me as it's the first time i see such pro brass players or jazz players are string players or chinese orchestra players. (not that the people in our school are all that lousy) but ya! everyone in the video that mrs ee showed us was so pro and the enzembles were all something very new and alien to us, yet it all just seemed so right. the video on swinging bach is OH MY. I'VE NEVER SEEN SUCH PRO-NESS IN MY LIFE. i want to borrow the cd!!!! (: and 鬼戏 is very eerie and all but the sound effects and the experimenting of new and different sounds were really interesting and something new all together! the enzemble of a western string quartet with a chinese pipa player was really weird but it all fit in perfectly and everything was really an eye-opener for all of us. (:

then went for recess and had a darn hilarious session with qianwen kexin and liuyi and everyone else. omg qianwen was so darn self-satisfied with herself for spending 2 freaking hours on folding ONE PATHETIC FLOWER. omg. haha. (:

then after recess we went back into our groups to practice and dr macorome (is this how you spell his name?) came to coach. expereienced more of jazz and had a great fun laughing our heads of at our silly improvisations and our pathetic basics. omg dr macorome is such a pro bassist! and he says he's not a percussionist but thanks, he plays the drumset like he's one please. -.- so pro! (:

jannabel, ruimin and i are all hoping to play the bossa nova for concert on friday but dr macorome says the "now's the time" is a basic jazz which we all have to know so apparently we have to learn to play that too. :/

went for NYAA checking after school. (: tintin didnt realy check anything lah. just confirmed with us stuffs. guenyik and i have to find something to do for nyaa cip! ): library or inspire?

went out with qianwen, liuyi and yihui afterwards. qianwen the pig ran off to kap to EAT and made me wait for her at newton mrt station haha. ayeee. went to bugis street and yihui got a bag while liuyi tried looking for her jumper. we finally found one at bugis junction in everlast but it was like 80 bucks! ): marvelled at samuel and calvin! haha my heaven! love their style but never really got anything from there so. :/ qianwen and i were looking around more for accessories and bitching about some people we know. ayeee. it's normal haha.

came back home with yihui and i found out how up to date or ahead of the news she's been. oh my she's so updated lah. haha.

managed to make people do wenqi's survey! i realised actually i have alot of guy contacts on my list but none of them whom i really talk to :/ in the end i didnt manage to get alot but someee. ): sorry wenqi! =x

haha! omg so freaking hilarious. and he was like "the band must be pretty small then!" HAHA. omg i almost died of laughter!

oh and i found out that my mum has a sense of fashion! wower. it's get that she doesnt follow the fashion trends. so she knows all about matching tunics with jeans or tights with all the craze about shoulder bags and many many accessories but she just doesnt bother to put it action. cause apparently all the current vintage stuff doesnt seem like fashion to her.

actually, on second thoughts, my sentiments too. it's like trying to modify and mordernise the oldies. which came out bad. :/ it makes people look older than they actually are.

went back to school for band and punishments. run 6 rounds with kexin and did 1 minute of drills with her. thanks lah she dragged me to do with her when i didnt have to do drills. but it was fun. then cynthia was taking sec 1s for marching and kexin qian and i decided to join them. the 3 of us sounded so much louder than the whole bunch of sec 1s im so amazed. haha.

i havent been able to come online very often, and probably wont be able to until very late at night.

for the past week i've been like SICK SICK and SICK. all because of one stupid medicine that the dentist gave wrongly! ): was late for school on monday wednesday and thursday last week! omg record holder lah. cause the surgery was on monday, i was like seriously sick on wednesday and i went back to see the dentist on thursday.

i kept vomiting and having serious headaches but im okay, with the exception of ONE THINGGG. grahhhh! so irritating! ):

had some breifing on the demo band thing with mr okamura on thursday during band! (: he's really hilarious and open! did some breathing and posture exercises. haha omg damn hilarious! (:

had 5 items on friday and managed to scrap through most of it. like SCRAP THROUGH. cause im like seriously not fit. and YES I KNOW QIAN VERY FIT LAH. ): run so fast like got some lion or tiger chasing her. -.-

had masterclass on saturday with MR OKAMURA! (: arrived there like 2 hours early and ended like 1 hour plus early can! so we wasted 3 plus hours slacking, playing and eating. and EUPHOS BROUGHT SO MUCH FOOD LAH. and in the end we were provided with food! o.O especially zhang qianwen! omg brought so much food! the whole bag filled with FOOD and more FOOD! so pro lah. -.- then they catered one table of food for our band and another table of food supposedly for HC band which was supposedly invited also but ultimately they decline the invitation i guess and ACSI got called upon instead. so when we saw acsi we were like o.O omg shit. and then they started taking food from THEIR table which was like just 5 metres aaway from ours and we were all like O.O. then lawrence siao came over and said: "eh you all eat finish already arh. eat finish then ok." then he turned and called to acsi "OOI! HERE STILL GOT FOOD! COME HERE AND TAKE!" omgg. we almost died siam-ing away please! -.-

then mr okamura came and gave us a little breifing! (: he's so cute lah! he was like talking to matthew lim about how we should go over to hawaii one of the days and we were like "YA YA YA WE WANT TO GO! YOU WANT TO SPONSER US?!?!?" haha. then we kept giving matthew lim the "PLEASE OH PLEASE CAN WE PLEASE GO" look. and he was like "er we need to negotiate with the school about that." HAHA. then jiaying was like "mr okamura! do you want us to go to hawaii?" and he was like "well yes." and we all turned to look at matthew lim lah. so classic please. haha.

anyway, masterclass was quite fun. mr okamura kept saying we were very gigglish HAHA. so dumb! cause we kept laughing at the posture thing. and then he said melanie very pro! and jasmine and i were like YA YA YA MELANIE VERY PRO! haha. yay! he siad our oboeist very pro haha! (:

on second thoughts maybe jasmine and i can be melanie's secret fanclub please. ok this is so dumb.

anyway, he said we were very well trained and very pro and we learnt very fast. and WE WERE VERY GIGGLISH. and he turned to ms chong and said "you did a very good job with them. well done!" omg made our day please! haha.

then after the thing ended and they went over to acsi band, we were left to ourselves to slack our time away. and the whole band were taking pictures like siao. sec 2s went mad lah. they spent half their time there jumping up and down to take photos of themselves jumping up and down in different positions. and sec 4s were sitting down looking at sec 2s going mad. and janabel lie was making this freaking hilarious stupid speech to flim lah. and kexin qian cheryl and quinza were playing BRIDGE. my god. quinza even bothered to bring cards can! im so amazed. cannot underestimate the madness of euphos section haha.



today went to school feeling abit sick and down. was quite downhearted cause of everything that happened the day before. then was rushing stuff during recess and lunch and partly because of other stuffs. then suddenly kexin and qian came to look for me to go lunch with me. o.o we went to sac to slack instead. and "destress" playing xbox. omg and im so amazingly shocked please! the first time i see kexin and qianwen act so childishly fighting over the beanbags and the remote control and screaming like siao. and of course there was much laughter. omggg. so dumb. haha. quotes qianwen: "if we ever invite jiaying right, i think she'll die of shock please! hahahahahahahaha" god. i so agree. madness.

and then kexin and qianwen were fighting and screaming and making such a noise that some juniors went to peek at us from outside. omg so malu can! see sec 3s behaving like kindergarten kids. my god.

then after school kexin called me and kexin and qian and i all choinged to sac again. to fight over the stupid xbox. god. then they were there screaming again! cause they played this lousy pok pok racing car game and they kept banging into each other. and they kept comparing who's a better driver. then i tried playing and I CONLCUDE THAT IM SUCH A LOSER IM THE WORST OF THEM ALL haha. god i should never become a driver please! :/ i'll die myself.

then we wanted to switch games and qian went to put in this weird helicopter game that is like no objective and most of them time we end up hitting into buildings and just killing ourselves. kexin got so amused she began to laugh like qianwen with the evil laughter! -gasps- im amazed! O.o

then we got tired of suiciding in the dumb game and switched back to the racing game where i "practiced" driving and they had a huge pillow fight. my god so scary please!

then we went out of the room and had a "serious talk" for like 1 plus hour about stuff. omg i realised qianwen doesnt know anything, she knows EVERYTHING. god i almost died please. she's so dangerous and scary! O.O muist be weary of her.

overall it was quite ok. he sang all the soothing songs. and there was an unplugged session. he's guitar is not bad! (; but he forget lyrics of 晴天雨and 懂了. and i think he went off tune for some bits but oh well. (:
